Once you’ve got the app, simply set up your account. You can then immediately start watching the available movies and TV shows. You can even add shows to your list, so you can remind yourself of ones you were interested in case you forget their titles.

If you’d like to add friends or family to your account and have them make their own profile, you can, for free. You’ll be able to see their separate profile from the home page.

Another great feature is the ability to download whatever Netflix TV show or movie you want to watch while you’re connected to the internet, then view it even when you’re not.

How much does it cost?

Monthly Netflix subscriptions start at $9.99, which will offer you a standard definition stream and limit you to one screen at a time. If you want to use it on two screens at once – say, if you want to watch something on the iPad while your partner watches something else on TV – you can do so for $13.99 a month. This option will also offer you high definition streaming, suiting most modern and recent TVs.

The top-end $19.99 plan lets you stream to four screens at once, and offers Ultra HD streaming.

What if I want to unsubscribe?

You can enjoy Netflix without contracts or commitments. If you decide to cancel, you can do so online in just a couple of clicks, without any cancellation fee.
